The BroadMap project consortium spans across most of Europe and now the BroadMap series of workshops have reached Greece.

Organised by the Centre for Security Studies of the Ministry of Citizen Protection and Public Order, the workshop was held on 28th June in Athens.

Workshop participants included police officer, fire brigade officers, the Greek coast guard, financial police, and ambulance service. A total of 13 people attended the BroadMap workshop. The participants had already reviewed the BroadMap Questionnaire before the meeting and came to the workshop prepared with some comments and questions on the Questionnaire.

The workshop began with an introduction to BroadMap, explaining its purpose and objectives. Participants were then divided into groups based on service/speciality and they were asked to fill out the BroadMap Questionnaire. At the end of the workshop, the Questionnaire results were collected and some conclusions were presented.

The next BroadMap workshop in Greece will take place on 5th July 2016.

Registering for this and other upcoming BroadMap workshops is possible by contacting the BroadMap consortium. More information here.
